Project Geologist

Join our Technical Services team in the Southern Goldfields on a permanent 8 days on / 6 days off roster and play a key role in building the resource base for underground mining operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Geologist to contribute to grade control modelling and resource development in a dynamic gold mining environment.



About the Role

Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, you will:

• Coordinate and oversee underground drilling activities.
• Design and implement drilling programs and maintain schedules.
• Generate grade control block models and update geological wireframes.
• Monitor sampling, QAQC, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with Tech Services and Mine Services teams to deliver high-quality geological data for mine planning.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of two years’ proven experience in a Project Geologist role, ideally in gold-focused projects.
• Strong understanding of underground mining geology and grade control practices.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software (Leapfrog, Surpac).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and drive a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• BSc in Geology.
• Current WA Class “C” Driver’s Licence.
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months).
